Backyard Terrors started in 2007 with my first dinosaur sculpture in our backyard…where else? Since then I have created and put together a plethora of things for all themes, pirates, monsters, dinosaurs, aliens, you name it! Backyard Terrors can do set design,make an entire display or just create one unique piece.
Backyard Terrors also operated The Funhouse Haunted Attraction, Monsters,Myths,and Legends among other events in the past. Our primary focus is the Dinosaur Park , a non-profit donation only attraction for all ages.

Backyard Terrors Dinosaur Park – I’ve always loved dinosaurs. When I was a kid I played with them constantly, out in mud puddles in the rain or in the woods creating stories in my head. My family took me to dinosaur exhibits where I was inspired to no end. In 2007 I had saved a little money and thought I really needed a life size dinosaur now. I bought a bunch of different materials chicken wire, foam, clay and paint along with a few old boards and did my best to knock one together. I was pretty pleased with the result and I guess others were too. They kept stopping to pictures and leave donations. i took what they left and built more dinosaurs. Eventually we had enough for a small park. So I made some trails, graveled them, made signs to educate visitors and we just expanded every year. The more folks left the more I could do and to be sure , I couldn’t have done it without ALL of you. – Chris Kastner Owner/Curator
