Bring your flashlights and your courage ! The powers out and the dinosaurs are on the loose ! It’s after hours at Backyard Terrors Dinosaur Park..and a volcanic eruption has the dinosaurs all riled up! Journey through the park and discover the dinosaurs in the dark. Hear the sounds of the T-Rex crashing through the trees as the sirens signal a warning. See trees alive with fireflies and escape the fire erupting volcano! Pirates of Dino Isle: A short exploration of a poor cursed pirate crew that washed up on Dino Isle!
Dates of operation for 2026 is Friday and Saturday nights in July and possibly some in October.
Weather permitting, thunderstorms and heavy rain will cancel the event on those nights. Please check out our Facebook page or message us to be sure we are running the event if there is inclement weather.
This is a kid friendly event, there will be no intentional scares.
There are some flashing lights, fog machines in use and loud sounds.
You may bring your own flashlights and lanterns to explore with. Only the first half of the park has any lights. The Mesozoic Nature Trail area is pretty much in the total dark.
Admission is the same donation amount we request during the day, 5.00 per person, payable via PayPal, cashapp, Venmo or you may also pay cash at the gate here at the Park.
The gift shop will also be open. Pics and video are encouraged, feel free to dress up as a dino, explorer or your favorite Jurassic Park/World character!
